Established in 1999, Totalcare began as family owned and operated business. Starting as a backyard project, with a tight budget, Totalcare was a single operator branch with only one ambulance. Pal Sandhu, a migrant from England, came from a nursing background where he specialized in Psychiatric Nursing. Pal established Totalcare Patient Transport Services after identifying a niche in Non-Emergency Patient Transport in Victoria. Pal slowly established himself at the Austin hospital where today, he remains a well-respected individual with a fantastic reputation.
